Reis Financial Services is an independent financial planning and investment management firm located in West Bend, Wisconsin.  We provide financial, investment, retirement, tax and estate planning for individuals, families, and businesses.  With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, we are currently offering an internship program for a motivated individual looking for a great opportunity with a flexible schedule.


This internship would allow the individual to gain knowledge and experience under the guidance of an industry leader. The Intern would work with both the advisor and his support team. Delivering extraordinary service to our clients is an important part of this role.  This role will allow for a mix of daily tasks as well as project work.  You will gain professional work experience related to your degree while working in a fun and positive work environment. The internship program will be specific to your university requirements.  After your internship program is completed, a full evaluation will be done.  We will also work with your academic advisor to make sure the internship satisfies your college requirements. After you have successfully completed the internship, and based upon your performance along with management approval, you may have the opportunity to move into a full-time position within our office.

The Opportunities:

  • Introduction to Morningstar and other financial software

  • Gain valuable knowledge in the Financial Services Industry

  • Verifying securities transactions: trades, account transfers, and address changes

  • Gain hands-on experience with various financial planning situations

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned


  • Daily completion of top six list or the use of the contact management system to prioritize daily tasks and reminders.

  • Report to the Operations Director

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience

  • Working towards an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Team Player

  • An hourly wage of $12.00 will be given for the duration of the internship
